PRESENT STATUS

 

I am working  as a VOIP Field Engineer (Networks) in VSNL’s IP Operations

(ISP) team from November 2004 to till date - placed by CMS computers LTD.,

Chennai. and also I have a very good knowledge in internet network Level

support.

Member of the VOIP and IP Operations team, I have gained in-depth knowledge of the VOIP technology, IPv4 addressing, TCP/IP suite of protocols, various dynamic routing protocols.  I have sound working knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and troubleshooting. Working with Cisco network elements (L2 and L3) is a major plus to my career.

 

NATURE OF JOB

 

·         Providing Level 2 support for PILL, STDILL, SILL and CILL Leased line customers.

·         Providing Level 2 support for Managed VOIP and Corporate Internet Telephonic customers.

·         Installing, configuring and maintaining the Router and Switch.

·         Installing, configuring  and maintaining the Audio code, Well gate and Cisco ATA VOIP gateways

·         Coordinating with DOT (TTSL, BSNL, BTNL, ) Incase of leased line connectivity failures and for new implementation of links

·         Monitoring STM1 and STM 4 gateway links.
